William's Make A Wish Trip

Well, we've returned!  We're completely exhausted and William slept until 11:30 this morning!  Several of the other children weren't up much earlier!  William's Wish trip was an amazing, spectacular experience that was truly a once-in-a-lifetime event!  If I spent the next week telling of all the wonderful things that happened to us, the delightful people we met, and the incredible way we were treated, it would not be enough time to describe it all!  Several people at Disney and Universal really went above and beyond for us.  We are extremely humbled.
William's Wish was to meet Woody from Toy Story.  He also wanted to swim with dolphins.  We did all that and so much more!  I'm going to take it post by post, mostly pictures, starting with his send-off party...
William loves Hulk!  Big and strong!

William's Wish Coordinators - they make it ALL happen! Miss Leslie and Miss Johnnie

William's doctor wouldn't clear him to fly due to risk, so we made the 19 hour drive (actually more like 24 hours for us).  William was slightly disappointed, but we made the most of it.  It took us 3 weeks to pack and we had to pull a trailer, of course!  With 14 people in a 15 passenger van, William's wheelchair barely fits, let alone all his medical equipment and luggage for 14!  It will probably take us nearly as long to unpack! :)

We stayed at a wonderful place called Give Kids the World.  I'll post on that tomorrow...
