Random things...

Whew! Is April ever a busy month or what???? It seems as though we've been running non-stop all month! Aside from the busy-ness of life, not much has been going on.  William had his first crash in his wheelchair and ended up with a bump on the side of his face.  I was not a happy camper.  It is so difficult to find the balance between letting go and keeping them safe.  Ugh!  I still can't believe he's 8 years old! Wallace is now the same height as William and that doesn't make William very happy. :) He really likes being the taller brother! Although, Wallace is happy.  He says he can be the "big" brother now!  They are so funny!
We do have exciting news to share!  We are expecting baby 14 in December.  As of today, I am 7 weeks, 2 days pregnant and have 230 days to go.  How would I know that, you might ask?  Well, because William asks me every night when my tummy will get big and how many days are left!  It's going to be a long 9 months! :)

Fun birthday activities...

Had a great time celebrating William's life!  He is always such a joy!

8th Birthday!

Today is William's 8th birthday!  I've never been so happy to celebrate birthdays! There have been many times that I've honestly wondered if we would make it here, but, Praise the Lord, here he is! He is super strong right now.
Every birthday, we go around the table at dinner and everyone gives one reason why they are thankful for that person.  Last night we did William's and there were many different versions of the same thing: William is a fighter.  He will persevere! He doesn't complain, but accepts things that come, yet he doesn't just give up, either.  I'm so thankful for that!  He handles almost EVERYTHING with a smile on his face.  He is patient and non-demanding.  He is truly a joy!

Costumes are DONE!!!

The children's costumes for our Florida trip are done! They are so excited! The boys want to wear theirs everyday and the girls are wanting everything to stay boxed up and safe! That's the difference between boys and girls, I guess! So now you can guess who is who.  I've posted their pictures in the following individual posts and I even added in their character's picture.  We'll see who knows their books (or movies)...

I don't know how I got off on William's color combination???? Oh, well!  If you see him, tell him he looks just like Yoda because he INSISTED that's who he wanted to be! :)

So, we dumped the staff and added a lamb.  Just a little safety measure... :)

Have you ever seen such a cute cowboy???
