Last week I celebrated another birthday. Since my OB kindly tells me I am an "older pregnant woman," I'll leave age to your imagination. I haven't been feeling very well lately, so the children were a little disappointed on my birthday. I didn't even feel like eating dinner, much less cake. However, we did have a wonderful dinner and cake a day or two after my birthday, which was very nice.
I have so many things to be thankful for. I am thankful for my wonderful children and that God is continuing to bless us. I am thankful for a husband who is a faithful companion, hard worker, righteous servant of the LORD...my best friend. I am thankful for his leadership in our home, for his unselfish love for me and our children, and for a united vision for our family. I am thankful for children (yes, teenagers, too) who love the LORD and desire to walk with Him, who are a blessing in the home, and love their parents. I am thankful for the opportunity to teach and train my children, to spend time with them, to talk with them when they "sit in the house, when they walk by the way, when they lie down, and when they rise up." I am thankful for each day that God gives me with my children. I am thankful that our children are healthy and happy and for the peace God has given with the unanswered questions surrounding William. I am thankful that he is thriving, learning, hearing, listening, and now talking! What blessings!
Though this is William's blog, today I share some favorite pictures of the rest of my precious family. Praise be to God!
