William has sweet friends who came over today and built him monkey bars that are just his size so he could help build his lung capacity. He is so excited! Thank you so much, Benjamin and Christopher, for the love you show to our sweet boy (and the rest of our family)!
"Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, for in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You." Psalm 143:8

Vest Airway Clearance System
Ever wonder how William spends his time? That's 1,000.2 hours and this is his 3rd machine in 3 years! Am I ever thankful for this handy machine!

Poem
I found this sweet little poem that totally represents how I feel about all my children. Maybe the boys more so, just because they don't seem to sit for long! The girls are always willing to come hug and snuggle, but the boys, well, it seems that it has to be their idea! :)
"Hold him a little longer,
Rock him a little more.
Tell him another story
(You've only told him four).
Let him sleep on your shoulder,
Rejoice in his happy smile.
He is only two and a half
For such a little while."

More Illness Update
Thank you all for praying for William. His doctor believes that a mucous plug broke loose and is blocking the air sac, as his alveoli are flat and unable to more things through, causing a secondary infection. He gave William another RX to try to break it up and added more Vest treatments to move it out. We will watch him closely for changes, which could require hospitalization again if it doesn't improve sufficiently over the next few days.
Again, thank you for lifting him up. God is always so merciful to us and we are ever grateful for His great kindnesses to our family!

Getting Better
William is definitely getting stronger! Last night he crawled about 4ft. This morning he used his walker to walk from the living room to his bedroom. Both jaunts were extremely slow and took much effort, but he's getting there!

Illness update
Thank you for the diligent prayers on William's behalf! After another stay in the hospital, he began acting significantly better around 1pm today. He began interacting, joking, talking. He is still pretty weak, but even that seems to be improving and he is much more in control of his head. It can be attributed to nothing but the power of prayer! We are leaving the hospital now and will follow up with his pediatrician for more testing tomorrow. We pray that we will continue to see steady improvement until he is back to his full strength and beyond!

Illness
Another pneumonia, another hospital stay. We are home and settled, but still very concerned. William did get steadily better at the hospital, but he seems to be on a roller coaster of sorts. He does better, then worse again. I spoke with one of his other doctors tonight and she agreed that he is not "out of the woods" yet. We are praying we'll get through the weekend without regression and see progress. He is sleeping with Michael so he can be monitored closely all night while we wait for Monday. We have a busy week ahead: testing, travel, doctors. Please pray for wisdom and for healing for our little man.
